Roosevelt Dev Prix

Our F1 Themed

Coding Competition

The Roosevelt Racers are excited to announce a month-long F1-themed game development competition where you’ll bring racing to life through code!

Over the next month, your mission is to design, develop, and launch your very own Formula 1-inspired video game showing your uniqueness and creativity.

Overview:

The world of Formula 1 is action-packed and thrilling, so it’s time for you and your team to display that in your own game. You and your team will create a game based on the world of Formula One. Some ideas include

  • Racing simulation game

  • Strategy game

  • Trivia or puzzle challenges

  • Reaction time game

  • Build-A-Car game

  • Wind tunnel, racing, or data collecting simulators

Or choose your own game and feel free to get creative within the F1 theme!

Game Requirements

  • F1 Theme – Your game must reflect F1 in an obvious way (cars, drivers, strategy, teams, pit stops, etc.)

  • Playable Demo – Should be easy to run and demonstrate the core gameplay loop.

  • Original Code – Use of libraries/frameworks is allowed, but your gameplay must include original logic and features.

  • Instructions – Clearly describe how to play (README file or in-game help)

  • Basic UI – Your game must have at least a start screen and some form of scoring or game feedback.

  • Source Code – Submit your full code and assets in a .zip or GitHub repo link.
